New capability helps charter operators to quickly and accurately provide detailed quotes to their customers – helping them get more quotes approved.

Boise, ID —
April 6, 2026— SkedFlex announced the launch of its new Charter Management module, developed in collaboration with Kalitta Charters II. The new capability expands the SkedFlex platform to support charter airlines with a more integrated approach to managing charter activity alongside core flight operations.

Built for the operational and commercial realities of charter flying, the Charter Management module allows operators to manage the full lifecycle of a charter flight, from initial request and quoting through scheduling, operational coordination, and post-flight reconciliation. By connecting these functions within the SkedFlex platform, operators can reduce manual handoffs between departments and gain better visibility across charter activity.

The module integrates directly with SkedFlex’s existing flight operations and crew management capabilities, helping operators align charter activity with fleet scheduling, crew planning, operational reporting, and financial tracking. It supports both ad hoc charter flights and structured charter programs, giving airlines a centralized view of charter activity within their broader operation.

“Charter operations require close coordination between sales, operations, and finance teams, often under tight timelines,” said Dana Knight, Sr. Product Director at SkedFlex. “Working closely with Kalitta Charters II allowed us to build a solution around the way charter airlines actually operate. The Charter Management module helps reduce manual coordination, improve visibility, and simplify the management of complex charter activity.”

Kalitta Charters II worked with SkedFlex throughout development, contributing operational insight and real-world feedback as the module was designed and implemented.

“Charter flying involves constant coordination between customer requirements, operational planning, and post-flight follow-through,” said Michael Joseph, Director of Sales at Kalitta Charters II. “Having a system that brings charter requests, operational planning, and financial tracking together in one place helps our team operate more efficiently while supporting the service standards our customers expect.”

The launch of the Charter Management module marks the latest expansion of the SkedFlex platform, which supports airlines and aviation operators in managing flight operations, planning, crew coordination, and operational data.
