MISA is a full ERP system designed specifically for aviation — unifying maintenance, inventory, purchasing, and financials into a single, seamless platform. Instead of juggling disconnected tools and duplicate data, MISA gives you a real-time, end-to-end view of your aviation business, helping you stay ahead of inspections, costs, and compliance.
With predictive maintenance tools, integrated purchasing, and complete parts visibility, you can reduce downtime and streamline repairs. MISA also connects operational activity directly to financial outcomes, so you understand where every dollar goes — from aircraft utilization to labor hours and vendor expenses.
Built to handle complex reporting, traceability, and oversight requirements, MISA is ideal for aviation organizations managing Government aviation logistics and maintenance contracts. It centralizes your entire operation, reduces manual processes, and delivers the clarity and control you need to make smarter, faster decisions.
SkedFlex MISA revolutionizes aviation maintenance management by merging planning, forecasting, and tracking. This approach empowers maintenance teams to focus on their core work—aircraft servicing—while enabling managers to efficiently oversee costs, revenues, and the generation of detailed maintenance invoices, enhancing operational efficiency and financial transparency.
Accounting is not an add-on in MISA, it’s built into the foundation of the system. Every transaction entered across maintenance, inventory, operations, and HR captures financial data in real time, allowing MISA to generate accurate financial reports without duplicate entry or disconnected workflows. This embedded approach gives you immediate access to both high-level financial summaries and detailed transaction insights, empowering better, faster decision-making across your aviation business.
MISA’s inventory management meticulously records every transaction, from procurement and repairs to installations and overhauls. This robust tracking ensures precise audit trails for control, compliance, and asset valuation, optimizing aviation inventory processes.
MISA supports effective human resource management by centralizing employee information, job roles, training records, certifications, and labor activity. It enables HR teams to easily manage personnel across departments, monitor qualifications, and track work assignments tied to specific aircraft or projects. With everything in one place, MISA helps streamline onboarding, compliance, and workforce planning — giving HR professionals the visibility they need to support operational readiness and employee development.
MISA streamlines payroll management by allowing users to create and manage payroll periods with flexibility for complex pay scenarios — including special rates, government program adjustments, and hazardous duty pay. It can export either detailed labor hours or fully calculated payroll amounts, making it compatible with most payroll systems. With MISA, payroll is tightly connected to operational activity, reducing errors and administrative workload while supporting accurate, timely compensation.
MISA’s integrated labor tracking functionality provides detailed oversight of work hours, costs, and billing, while also managing schedules, PTO, and historical records for payroll and workforce planning. Employees and supervisors can review and approve timecards, and system logins can be audited to support accountability and accuracy. This streamlined approach ensures precise labor management and supports smarter financial and operational decisions.
MISA’s flight operations capability streamlines weekly flight scheduling and enables both bulk flight creation using templates and the addition of ad hoc flights as needed. It supports detailed pilot and aircraft assignments while automatically checking for scheduled maintenance conflicts and crew qualification compliance—immediately displaying any violations during scheduling. Dispatchers can easily record flight data, including pilot-reported squawks, for maintenance review and follow-up. This functionality ensures smooth coordination between operations and maintenance for more efficient, compliant aviation management.
MISA’s employee training and qualification tracking helps ensure your team stays current and compliant. From pilots and mechanics to ground personnel, MISA enables you to manage initial and recurring training, certifications, and required qualifications with precision. The system supports course templates, training classes, grace periods, and automated disqualification for expired requirements. It tracks everything from medicals and airport badges to mechanic licenses and inspector currency, with alerts and reporting tools that keep managers informed.

MISA licensing is flexible and can be based on either user count or aircraft count, depending on what best aligns with your operational needs.
MISA excels in this area too. You can set up separate locations that have their inventory, aircraft, personnel, vendors, tax information, etc. and MISA’s reporting engine allows you to pull up items by location, which helps to eliminate departmental headaches for people in accounting and human resources.
Because MISA is an integrated system, all data is collected as employees perform their jobs and are available in different parts of the system for review and analysis. Information can be viewed at a high level, or a detailed level, down to a specific part, particular aircraft or fleet, by cost, date of purchase, vendor, when it was paid, and/or how it was paid when it was received into inventory, installed on aircraft, sent out for repair, etc. MISA offers virtually unlimited ways to access and view your data, ensuring it can be tailored to meet the unique needs of your operation.
Yes, MISA’s accounting structure is uniquely set up to be able to track the contract, the ACRN, the CLIN, and the individual work being done so that all cost and billing information is gathered, and a Contract Funds Status report can easily be created.
Yes, we have a specific Flight Times Entry screen in MISA that allows you to enter the flight hours, landings, and engine cycles for each aircraft each day. This form also allows you to status your aircraft as FMC, PMC, or NRT, and a report can easily be created for your Government representative to sign off on the flight hours.
Yes, our accounting structure and functionality in Purchasing and Maintenance can easily distinguish and report on costs as they either relate to Flight Hour items or Over and Above costs.
MISA can track complex employee clock in and out times for maintenance tasks linked to a specific work order line or simple arrival and departure and break times. We even have logic that allows for different labor rates, by the user, for jobs, work orders, and lines.
MISA’s Employee Training module keeps track of crew currency and when a dispatcher or other personnel creates a flight, the system automatically verifies if they have the qualifications to fly the selected aircraft and if their qualification is current. If not, the system will display a warning message, and only if you have the privilege assigned to override this type of item, will you be allowed to schedule the pilot for the flight.
MISA has a Maintenance Planning module where designated personnel can place a particular aircraft in “Maintenance” status. When someone tries to schedule the aircraft within the particular date and time frame, a warning message will appear, and only if you have the privilege assigned to override this type of item, will you be allowed to schedule the aircraft for a flight.
